Penmanship: Key to Successful Bank Heist

Penmanship is important, even for bank robbers. Thomas J. Love, 40, learned this lesson the hard way on Sunday when he attempted to rob a Delaware bank. According to police, when Love handed the teller a demand note, she was unable to decipher his illegible handwriting.  A model of customer courtesy, the teller asked Love to rewrite the note. Instead, Love fled the scene empty-handed and probably ashamed.

Police later arrested love and charged him with attempted robbery. “Taht sux sow baad,” we imagine him to say.
